This short debate includes incumbent Democratic Representative Niki Tsongas, Republican Jon Golnik and two independents Dale Brown, Bob Clark.
Tsongas defends her lack of accessibility. She’s been building up a pretty impressive set of online services which she promises to use in the future to improve transparency and voter accessibility.
Golnik is very strong as usual. Not the most exciting speaker – but a torrent of facts and figures. He is extremely well informed. He goes after Tsongas for voting for what he calls “job killing tax increases”.
Tsongas is on the defensive all the way through the debate – but she remains calm under fire.
Among the independents Clark is a little stronger than Brown, but neither of them has the rhetorical skills to keep up with Tsongas and Golnik.
