Following our posting of a short informal interview with Geoff Diehl at the Plymouth County GOP straw poll, Diehl emailed us with this short and very smart campaign video. He gets right to the issues he’s running on:

  • restoring funding for local priorities like schools, libraries, senior centers, police and fire departments.
  • while lowering taxes by reducing spending on “pet projects and pork”, to help small business and seniors

Geoff Diehl

We got a note from Diehl:

I am a member of the Whitman Finance Committee, as well as a member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and the Metro South Chamber of Commerce.

I was able to restore a local landmark (the Toll House sign) at no cost to the town or developer – I was able to get Nestle to underwrite the whole project: http://www.geoffdiehl.com/graphics/TollHouseSign.pdf

I am endorsed by Citizens for Limted Taxation.
